Age:  High School Students ages 13 to 17

 

Dates:  Mid-September of each year.

Locations:  Southern Alberta Bible Camp (Lomond, Ab)

 

Cost: Travel only. No cost to candidates for registration.

 

Prime Sponsor: Rotary Club of Cochrane and Rotary District 5360

 

Travel:  Candidates will arrive with parents or friends or if there is enough demand by a bus.

Description: RYPEN is a Rotary-sponsored District Youth Service program. Students, from 13 - 17 years of age, from across District 5360 attend a weekend-long camp designed to develop their potential through a mixture of lecture style sessions and adventure-based learning.

Its aim is to communicate to young people a series of ideas, problems and social experiences which will assist them in forming their own values and moral standards.  A program of thought-provoking speakers, social situations, and personal challenges is offered.
