Sept 20 Club Social
Bow RiversEdge Campground
22 people enjoyed a beautiful evening in "our" campground. BREC Manager Jacquie Felesky led a walk and talk tour. Allan and Stephen barbecued burgers. Chrystal organized food. Members brought salads, desserts and appetizers. It was a great club opportunity to socialize.

At Culture Fest, we raised our tipi for third time. Elders Pauline and JR Twoyoungmen were on-hand to share with visitors. We do this in support of the new Indigenous Centre in Cochrane.

Editor's reflection: Today's bulletin shows ways our club works to serve:
  1. Recreation for residents walking and cycling Cochrane paths. We're working to add options on Trans-Canada Trail to Calgary and later to Canmore.
  2. Our partial ownership of Bow RiversEdge Campground, which donates funds raised.
  3. Supporting Indigenous Community with Tipi raising, talking circles, and other work for Cochrane Indigenous Centre.
  4. Donations and support for Ukrainian Newcomers.
  5. MTA Golf event raising funds for 5+ local organizations for 15th year.
  6. Last week we attended Himat Project fundraiser for women and girls in Pakistan. Successful event.
