Last Tuesday, we enjoyed a Rotarian social at Lucky Penny Restaurant. 15 people attended, including Anita's 3 year old daughter. We enjoyed good conversation and fun food, including tacos and pizza.

Event held May 5. We had a good turnout of 20 in-person and 1 by zoom. Michael Bopp opened, then Daryl Kootenay facilitated. Participants appreciated the opportunity to gather and speak, and were happy about plans for a new centre.
Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee (CISC) is hosting a Newcomers event on Saturday, May 28 from 1-4 pm at the Historic Cochrane Ranche Site on Highway 1A.
We welcome all newcomers in a fun and interactive setting. We will have a booth showcasing resources and services available to newcomers, as well as Cultural Representatives from different countries. There will be light refreshments, kids’ activities, music and door prizes.
