The Indigenous Action Circle is a circle of allies that consist of Rotarians, Friends of Rotary, community residents and interested community Not for Profits.
The IAC is a developing circle of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Cochrane that are committed to working together to rebuild our society from the ground up by creating a platform of unity, collaboration, mutual respect, and justice.
The group is recognized and supported by a larger 5360 district community of practice that is focused on regionally convening local clubs that are working on Truth and Reconciliation in Alberta.
The IAC is currently focused on the development of an Indigenous Centre in Cochrane and supporting the formation of an Indigenous led Not for Profit.
Next IAC meeting: 6 pm Tuesday, Feb. 22.
