The awarding of a Rotary Integrity Award is recognition by the Rotary Club of Cochrane of accomplishment and integrity in charitable works, business, the creative arts, or public service, locally, provincially, nationally or internationally.

PROCESS/PROCEDURES
 
The awarding of a Rotary Integrity Award is recognition by the Rotary Club of Cochrane of accomplishment and integrity in charitable works, business, the creative arts, or public service, locally, provincially, nationally or internationally.
Note: Current members of the Rotary Club of Cochrane and current members of Rotary will not normally be considered for this award.
Nominees are selected for accomplishment and integrity according to one or more of the following criteria:
 
1. Have established a reputation for accomplishment and integrity in their field or endeavor.
2. Have made notable contribution in the service of humanity (through charity, business, arts, social service, etc.) and are generally known for their integrity.
3. Is a role model and displays the values that Rotary International strives to cultivate.
4. Integrity Definition:  Possession of firm principles, the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards.
 
Nominations
 
All nominations of prospective candidates for the Rotary Integrity Award shall be made in writing to the attention of the Chair of the Committee, Lynn Thomson (lynn3thomson@gmail.com).
 
Nominations should provide the following written information:
 
  • The name and current address of the candidate.
  • A resume and other such documentation that may be helpful to the Committee.
  • Pertinent reference articles / names.
  • A brief statement outlining why the nominees should be considered for the Rotary Club of Cochrane Integrity Award.
  • Name and contact addresses of nominator(s).
     
Nominations shall be received by the Committee by February 21, 2017 for consideration for the Annual Ceremony to be held spring 2017.
 
Nominations may be made by members of the Rotary Club of Cochrane including those on the committee, or the community at large.
